CARLISLE RESERVE

Public BBQ

Carlisle Reserve features a large, well-maintained oval with AFL goals at both ends, perfect for football and cricket. The expansive open field is dog-friendly and surrounded by mature trees providing shade for picnics. Facilities include a playground, cricket nets, BBQ pit, and public toilet, with parking available. The reserve hosts various sporting clubs including the Carlisle Football Club and cricket teams. While generally family-friendly, some visitors have reported safety concerns about the playground sand containing debris. The suburban setting can experience heavy traffic on nearby Orrong Road during rush hours. Performance car enthusiasts often park around the reserve, adding an interesting element to walks around the perimeter.
